An independent internal medicine meeting in Kaohsiung, Taiwan

As was reported at the AiCVIM /AiSVIM general meeting held in Thailand in June 2025, it has been decided that, with the goal of further strengthening our educational framework and fostering closer professional collaboration, an independent internal medicine meeting will be organized during the gap year of the biennial AMAMS.

Date: December 12–13, 2026
Venue: Kaohsiung Exhibition Center, Kaohsiung, Taiwan

- Create opportunities for AiCVIM residents to present their research and clinical work at international conferences, thereby enhancing their academic and professional development.
- Hold regular meetings to promote smooth communication, knowledge exchange, and collaborative projects among members.
- Contribute to the continued advancement and recognition of specialty medicine across Asia.

We are pleased to inform you that, through the dedicated efforts of AiCVIM Extended Board members Dr. Ya-Pei Chang, Dr. Yong-Wei Hung, and Dr. Jihjong Lee, the 2026 meeting will be held as follows. We kindly ask you to reserve the dates in your calendars.

This meeting is planned to be co-hosted by AiCVIM/AiSVIM, AiCVS/AiSVS (Asian Surgery group), and several local veterinary organizations, including the Taiwan College of Veterinary Surgeons and the Formosa Veterinary Medical Association.
